Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch – Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett

Read Time:30 Second

51TyhnrA8CL._SX301_BO1,204,203,200_I ran across this after finishing another "urban fantasy" novel a few weeks back, and enjoyed the wit, but in the end didn't think it did much with a really great premise.  The idea is that devils and angels are fighting for souls, and Judgment Day accidentally gets scheduled, and they end up having to shortcut it from occurring because … well, they weren't real clear on this.  A lot like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but not as consistently funny, although the highs were actually better, I thought.
