Ran across this book while reading a review of another one, and it looked like the sort of science – based entertainment that the boys would like. Turned out they absolutely do – Parker and Colin insisted on listening to it on the way to school for the last couple of weeks. The idea is that the author answers ridiculous scientific questions, such as what would happen if the earth stopped rotating, but the air surrounding the earth kept moving at the same velocity. The cover art for the book is ideal – it shows a Tyrannosaurus Rex being lowered into the maw of a Sarlac from Star Wars, clearly to answer a question regarding which would win. Parker got into the spirit of the book, observing that a utahraptor would do better than a T Rex in such a situation.

They have already asked me to look for a sequel.
