Thanksgiving 2022

Read Time:48 Second

Wonderful weekend with our boys watching our Cowboys beat the Giants on Thanksgiving Day! We’ve been doing this for 14 years, and it’s great to spend a couple of days on the road, in hotels and restaurants, and at the stadium.

2009

Since Grayson was able to come home from Austin Tuesday evening, we drove to Arlington Wednesday and had an early dinner at our regular pre/post game restaurant, Mariano’s in Arlington.

We headed to the stadium early Thursday to get our Thanksgiving dinner there (in years past we’ve gone to Mimi’s Cafe, but this saves a stop). Then it was cheering on our Cowboys as they beat the Giants for sole possession of second in the NFC East with six games to play.

Last night was the traditional dinner at the Keg in Irving, and this morning we added a new tradition by stopping at the Star to get our Christmas card picture taken with Santa.
