The Caine Mutiny – Herman Wouk

Read Time:26 Second

I have been plugging away at this book for probably a year, and last night settled in for the part leading into the hurricane – p. 318. I could not put it down after that, and three hours and 170 pages later finally finished it – my first book of 2024. It’s a terrific read, and while the first 3/5 is painful as the background is established – the payoff is worth it, including probably the best courtroom scene I have ever read or watched. Really, really enjoyed it.
