Moon Lander: How We Developed the Apollo Lunar Module – Thomas J. Kelly

Read Time:32 Second

I just ran across this book online a couple of weeks ago, and immediately downloaded it. Everyone who watched the HBO miniseries From The Earth To The Moon knows who Tom Kelley is, and it was interesting reading Kelly’s book on his experience working at Grumman when they were the vendor for the lunar module during the Apollo program.

some readers complained that it was too focused on the vendor experience at the expense of the technical obstacles that were overcome, but this is not the story of the lunar module – it is the story of the people directing the activities at Grumman during its development.
